Langley Care Society was founded in 1974 and continues today to provide care for seniors who require 24 hour nursing care. The organization is a registered non-profit society since the 1970′s and has registered charitable status with Canada Revenue Agency. We are fully accredited by Accreditation Canada, ensuring a high standard of care and organizational effectiveness.

The Langley Care Society operates Langley Lodge, under license by the Residential Care Services division of Fraser Health Authority. Additional to our primary mandate, the Langley Care Auxiliary work to raise funds to supplement services which directly benefit our residents.

The Langley Care Foundation is a registered public foundation which exists to develop local community support for Langley Lodge. A current initiative of the foundation is the Annual Campaign. The Annual Campaign engages in major fundraising initiatives which will provide dollars to directly offset the mortgage on the newly constructed and renovated facilities.

Since 1990, Parkinson SuperWalk has raised over $25 million to fund vital research, education, support and advocacy, on behalf of the over 100,000 Canadian’s with Parkinson’s disease and their 400,000 family, friends and caregivers. I personally know the effects of this terrible disease. My father, Jim Holcombe, struggled with this disease until November of 2011.
